Key Features of the Sponsored Parent Visa (Subclass 870)
Temporary Stay
Live in Australia for up to 3 or 5 years, with the option to apply for a renewal for a total of 10 years.
No Balance of Family Test Required
Unlike other parent visas, this visa does not require the Balance of Family Test.
No Work Rights
This visa allows you to stay with family but does not permit work in Australia.
